The The E-Warung project was developed as a technology-enabled retail solution to improve interns’ access to daily necessities in the Minori and Nagomi communities. This study aims to formulate a data-driven vending machine business plan by identifying product demand, designing product allocation, estimating operating and investment costs, and evaluating financial feasibility. The project used a descriptive business-planning approach based on questionnaire results, field observation, market-price surveys, supplier identification, demand-frequency analysis, product-proportion calculations, cash-flow projections, and investment appraisal. The project report states that 722 respondents from Minori and Nagomi contributed to the demand analysis. At Minori, the highest estimated product requirements included Pepsodent toothpaste (464 units), Pepsodent toothbrushes (436), Soklin detergent (441), and Rexona deodorant (353). At Nagomi, Soklin detergent reached 537 units, followed by Pepsodent toothpaste (125), Kecap (127), and Good Day beverages (89). The financial appraisal reported an NPV of Rp114,911,595.86, an IRR of 27%, and a payback period of 1.592 years for Minori, while Nagomi recorded an NPV of Rp541,713,527.67, an IRR of 54%, and a payback period of 3.043 years. Both alternatives generated positive NPV and IRR above the assumed 10% WACC, indicating financial feasibility under the report’s assumptions. The findings support demand-based assortment planning and digital self-service retail, while actual implementation is still required to validate the projected sales and financial outcomes.
